I spoke with Phil Harrison. I should receive all the info today..By the sound of it we should get moving.. He already advised me that there were a lot of Toranas/clubs attending. I told him that the Canberra torana Club was attending.

I spoke to Phil Harrison yesterday about the show. All clubs that were there last year, or are invited this year will be parked in the same place as last year on the skid pan, individuals not allined with a club other clubs that wish to attend will be parked out next to the grandstand on pit straight. Those parked near pit straight won't get to do the laps (it's too hard to do because you are on the outside of the circuit, no access) and the driver will have to pay entry. Those parked inside the circuit do get to do laps and the driver doesn't have to pay entry.

Interesting, Phil advised that they are putting us next to the A9X Club. Whatever happens, I'm sure it will all work out fine.

Damn it, I specifically asked for no yellow SLR5000's near us hahahahaha. Yes he did mention that, the XU1 guys are having their Nationals and all the invited Torana clubs will be parked near them over near the medical centre, not on the skidpan like last year.

I am trying to attend the event as part of the Canberra Torana Club but due to disgusting personal habits I won't be staying with them overnight (read I snore loudly) hahahaa. All being well I will see what reasonably priced accomodation close by I can find.

Keith, from what the dude was saying, he wants to park all the Torana's together. Where that is, I have NFI, as I didn't go last year. I don't think there'd be anything stopping you going, unless your Torrie looks like a Commonwhore or something. If it looks, sounds and smells like a Torana, then you should be able to enter.

Actually, just looking at the forms, if you are not with a Club, you'll be parked elsewhere (single car entries).

No you don't have to be, you'll just be parked eslewhere if your not part of one. Have a chat to me or somebody from the Qld Club on the day, or join a local Club.
