i recently herd of people being defected in adelaide for having redwalls because coppers believe it takes the strength outa the sidewall, thats is true in a sense

So is a strip cut out of the walls or are they just painted on?

Mine you can feel a very slight groove in the wall and then painted bearing in mind the guy that done mine had the correct machine,have heard of some people doing them with grinders.Maybe these are the ones that are getting defected.

Bought a set of redwalls for the GTR a few months ago,

Hi are these tyres the BF Goodrich Redline Radial 185/70R13 ?
I'm trying to find out if they're any good.
what do you think of them ?

I was watching RBT and the cop pointed out the redwalls on a guys car as illegal saying they take strength out of the side wall.

In regards to the the redwalls being illegal,the person that done mine use a proper machine and you can hardly feel the wall.Its that faint So I would doubt it would be illegal.
