Agreed. Do the swap, get a permit to drive it home (may have to get the olds to do this) and enjoy. :)

i rang the guy so i could look at it tomorrow and he's sold it.
oh well, i get to hold on to the v8 for longer. if i can't sell it at least i get air con comfort and handling ahead of the torry.

Just get whichever you think will be suitable for you,my first torana (lx 202 4spd) used less petrol than the vh sl/x wagon I had,only other difference was the tyres & diffs I went through on the torana but that problem was fixed after I read the gregorys manual that said "revise driving habits" lol.

lol I was looking through the manual the other day when reading up on assembling, disassembling the front end.. thought I'd read the problem section on diff to see if there was any specific cause for the rattly diff, got a cheap smile out of the 'revise driving habits' :rockon:
