We did the final dyno tune on the car last week. Didn't get quite as much l had hoped for however given we have no idea what the motor is l am pretty happy. We got 180 rwhp if l round up!! He only revved it to 5000 rpm as he didn't want to push it given he had no idea what internals it is running. Runs really well now and pulls nice and hard right through all the gears.

I have video on dyno but not sure how l post it up. Will see what l can learn and read up.

Looks like there will be more than a few forumers at Bathurst :) (me included!)Quick question, Wherd you get your radiator from?I need to invest in a bigger alloy radiator ASAP and yours is one of the better looking around!

Thanks fellas for comments.

Orange LJ it I an Aussie dessert cooler. It works really well. I also have one on my HK Monaro running a 383 chev and have never had a problem even on the hotest day in heavy traffic. He also loves cash for cheaper price do mention that also!!

Satin black vinyl/plastic paint? What did you do for the silver outlines?

I was looking into re finishing my own just not sure what they do as its not being chromed. How was their pricing?

thats seems very reasonable, did they knock out any dints before hand? i thought it would be much more expensive!!

did you get your scuff plates done there as well?

Yes there were a couple bu oval it wasn't to bad.

Scuff plates are new reproduction from Parts Cloner on eBay. They are very good quality.

Sorry he silver on the dash is just a standard silver paint pen from a news agent. It works well but does rubb off areas like where you keys hang.

I called Vinney's to organise some work and no one answered, must have been out. I want to get my grille done first and was wondering if that price included the headlight surrounds. Ill call him again on Tuesday and see, wouldn't mind getting some other bits done as well.

Cheers

No headlight surrounds were separate cost.
