yeah i watched that brown hatch launch not sure if was ned or norm but the smaller of the 2 lol.it was like an f14 leaving an aircraft carrier.and the grin on his brothers face as he watched was about 3 foot wide.

That was my LJ dropping fuel. I looked at the fuel cap after reading this and the seal has a split in it. Thanks for pointing out that it was spraying out here a few days later. A quick word on the day might have saved some down time for everyone.

I don't think yours actually caused any down time. The Dragway staff were aware of it as I heard them mention it after one of your runs but they didn't consider it worth pulling you up after your trip back up the return road. They certainly pulled others up as they returned as i was standing right near them almost every time.

Generally they dont worry toooooooo much about fuel as it evaporates quickly, sometimes that's what they are mopping off the line after a pass!

Thanx Rob and Rob and everyone involved in the day, a little disappoint in my best time of [email protected] but not too shabby for the ex chaser with a stock 5Litre showing 250 000 on the clock.
I think wheel spin in first and the tune going a bit rich on the day kept it from dipping into the 14's... (Crossing the line at 4000rpm don't help either).

air con pack of sheilas fair dinkum.spose they had there stereo on as well and could most probably hear it.lolI know that they asked a fair few of the guys to turn off their air con as they were dripping all over the place.......
i myself was in the mobile inferno the only water dripping from my car was from me and running out the floor holes
