Anyone got a pic of a genuine Holden LJ GTR and LH SLR 5000 wheel nut? I could be wrong but I'm sure the annular grooves are different to the American nuts.

Hey Dave,

You are correct they are a bit different, but once on fitted on the car, will be hard to tell from a distance, they are the same height as per gtr wheel nut.

Regards John.

HI John

My main concern is the shallow grooves in the American nuts may not hold the GTR centre cap tightly.

Cheers

Dave.

Hey Dave,

I have a genuine wheel nut in my hands now,the bottom groove is the same as the pontiac in the photo, but the top groove is different. The tapper on my wheel nut is the same as the pontiac one on the bottom to the rim...

Regards John.

Right on Brad, that's how I remember the LJ GTR wheel nuts looked.

The grooves in the original nuts appear to be slightly deeper but hard to tell for sure from a photo.

Hi guys, you could simply get the verniers
out & measure the circumference of the
groves diameter length ect. Compare them
& then we'd all know & could make an
easy decision on where to purchase ect.
would certainly help me & a few others,
Gary.

guys,

can we have some measurements on the following GTR badge position on the boot.

one person has so far provided  535mm to the top of the badge ( measured off the top edge of the boot near the screen) and 70mm in to the R on drivers side.

Just does not seem right. - seems to close to the edged,

anyone have an original non restored car to measure off please.

thanks

Ya'll have to ask Julie Andrews that one I suspect. :)

Aftermarket air horns. F&$ked if I know how you're supposed to fit them in the engine bay though.

Grant, see the pic of the GTR grille badge on this car. Grille centre horizontal bar but needs to be moved one vertical bar closer to the passenger headlight.
