Hello all.

As suggested by Mumbo I decided to share my latest project with GMH Torana guys. A 1972 HQ Kingswood. Patina Gold, all original at the moment. My plans are to build myself a kick butt sleeper with real grunt.

As the car sits at the moment:

Plans are to build it up with a mild 454, and punt around in it for a few months while I sort out the new car bugs.

Here is the 454 I have built:

Once the 454 gets boring, I will slot in the new motor I have coming from USA at the moment. A 540ci Shafiroff Ultra Street. Makes approx 700hp on their dyno on pump fuel. Dart big M block, Dart alloy heads, Callies crank, manley rods, roller stick etc etc.

I haven't lifted a spanner on the HQ yet. I have been busily collecting parts and building the spare motor.

Please say you're leaving the exterior alone. Awesome sleeper.

I sold the camaro a few months ago and have been on a spending spree ever since :).

The car will look exactly the same from the outside. That's why i bought it, i hate body work.

The 454 is nearly ready to fire up. Just a few more bits and pieces are on the way from Summit, then she's ready to make some noise!!

That's what I figured Howard, pop the bonnet and there is nothing more intimidating than a BIG BLOCK.
