Greatly appreciate the shop tour today and the info. Nice to know some locals with strong interest and knowledge on the auto front.
Judging by what you and the fella next door had in the shop today, there can't be too much you guys haven't blasted , painted, painted, blasted, painted, blasted & painted...
Keep up the good work.
I hope to have my hatch down your way in the not too distant future!
Cheers, Scott

Not many people see just how quick the paint can come off a vehicle.
That is a lot quicker than I expected. I will assume that is one of the reasons you use glass? And I suppose the used glass is easier to clean and re-use than other media?

mate cant reuse it, after its used its like powder. thats the hardest part of the job is cleaning up saturday mornings after blasting a few cars each week.
check the old XK ute rust free. also HZ sandman
blasted a mate alloy block so he can make a ( top gear ) coffee table.

i wont be going back with the hatch .
that glass media sure is sticky, and get into everything, with a bit of breeze
the wind down the freeway didnt remove all the grit off the paint.i had to give the beast a wash when i got home .
