Ok, have received confirmation off the organiser.
The NSW MCA has paid the deposit to secure the event and will be accepting attendee deposits closer to the day.
Stay tuned.
Guys that have done this will tell you its the best fun.
Here's me and Phil (Monza1) at a previous Wakefield Day
Just give your car a good service before you go and drive within its and your limits.
If you are using a factory sump stick a little bit more oil in it (500ml), check your brakes and change the fluid, check gearbox and diff oil - and go for it at a speed that you're comfortable with.
Come on guys - get on the track!!

shame that driveway isnt a bit longer it could double as a hillclimb track.mine is in no condition to attend either
but i wonder if they will let me cruise if i bring this

lol between the Torana, 4x4 HiLux, SS Dunnydoor, the kids motor bikes & mine, house renos and now the dad inlaw just dropped his caravan off for me to sort out im finding it hard to even scratch my lefty Wednesday i will have pic's worthy of posting in my build thread of the engine bay all smoothed ( i hope )

Ultimately they just couldn't secure the required numbers. Blokes need to get their cars out of the shed.
I was so keen for this too :-(

From my knowledge Chris they needed 40 and had around 30.
It was a NSW Muscle Car Association event and was only opened up to others on the date of my first post.

I'd be keen to know the revised date when available... only just came across this post!
Had to cancel our trip to Wakefield 2 weeks a go... was getting the car ready to leave, and found the brakes weren't working!
Lost the entry fee, but better than burying the car in the sand at the 1st corner I guess.....
New booster & Master Cylinder arrived today, so should be 'stopping' again some time soon!
