Yeah, I got a hold of some fantastic straight rust free UC doors...

Check out this entry, second picture down.... http://www.gmh-toran...post__p__618807

The only way you can tell they're UC once the door trims are on, are the extra spot welds.... So I anally bogged them up....

Cheers

Thank Hanra, he hit me up for the info.

To answer Hanra's question, if you put the decals on as per the manual, it ends up too low and too far forward.

Measurements are from my car, where somebody (somebody tighter than me) masked around the original decal, rather than getting a new one!!! Can't believe it, but glad in other ways.

Off it goes to have a new exhaust system fitted.... 2 1/2 inch twin system, off set sport mufflers and NO balance pipe... (Already had the extractors on there)

Posted Image

Trying to knock over all the mechanical before the panels go on...

Back again....

Posted Image

I had flanges welded in just in case I ever wanted to drop the K-frame out again

Posted Image

2 1/2 inch twin system, no balance pipe and off set sports boxes....

Had no choice Mate, if I wanted to drive the thing..... I went for a Tri-matic (with hi-stall and stage 2 shift kit) to keep it looking correct at least... But no worries though, I changed nothing that can't be bolted straight back in as I kept the M21, shifter, pedals etc...

Nothing wrong with a trimatic SL/R anyway! :3gears:

Got the A/C plumbed up.... I very luckily scored Torana Dealer Fitted A/C unit from a fellow forum member.... :spoton: .... Thank you very much.... (You know who you are.... :D.....)

Posted Image

I think the Drier Receiver is quite neat here...

Posted Image

Ran the hoses inside the guard...

Posted Image

Not real sure about this though.... I'll have to put on the Hotwires with the 245's and turn it onto lock...

The engine bay is coming together...

Posted Image

I'm not fitting the Decals until I'm finished... I don't like the blue leads though, might have to find some black ones....

Posted Image

Hopefully I'll have it started for the first time tomorrow....

I really wanted to put in a 3 row radiator, even though they only came out with a fine 2 row.... I had no option other than to buy a Kingswood unit if I wanted it to at least look original

Posted Image

Well my old one went into storage, had some new side-bands folded up, and stripped the sh!tty enamel off....

Posted Image

After it was primed, I painted in in 2pac GMH satin Black...

Posted Image

.... Which unfortunately led to another problem, my original fan shroud won't fit.....:banghead:

Posted Image

I scored another shroud and added another 25mm in...

Posted Image

I stripped it with my trusty little hand held blaster ...

Posted Image

Mmmmmm bog!!!!

Posted Image

Here you can see the difference....

Posted Image

Now that it's bolted on I don't think anyone would pick it....

Any reason why you chose no balance pipe?

Takes the crackle out and gives it that old school lumpy sound.... Providing you've got a decent cam in it...

Cheers
