Putting the engine in the front with a torana x member etc means i need to make a trans tunnel, mount a diff, etc etc etc, and will end up with a car nearly as heavy as a torana that will be slow and not do wheelstands. May as well get another torana and put the engine back in that, half the work.

Dunno what a stock beetle engine weighs, will find out soon when i pull the 1600 twin port out, i'll weigh it to get an idea how much i'll gain putting the six in, but im guessing shitloads.
