For me the $400 price difference would not be relevant. I would simply choose the item that suited my purposes best. However, if we were compaing $950 to $1800, then I would buy the cheaper item.

Not that I'ne measured it, but the hemisphere offset is different from the banjo to the UC small salisbury. Apparently.

^ Note that that is an (unintentionally) misleading comment. Someone needs to clarify that

There ARE two different offsets in the Banjo carrier range, I hope they weren't just comparing a 3.9:1 Sals to a 2.78:1 Banjo (etc or vice versa).

I remember there being a visual difference between a Salisbury carrier and the Banjo one, on the face where the heads of the crown-wheel bolts are visible. I don't even know if the distance between the carrier bearings matches!

We need some better tech articles on all this shit. I haven't stuffed around with the UC diffs but clearly the stuff needs to be documented.

Any update on the diff center?
Just read the thread complete and this looks like a good product a lot of us need at a good price.

gave it away,

the diff manufacturer wanted a minimum of 50 for a special run, i was happy to do that if they would guarantee me not to manufacture another lot within 12 months.
Reasonable request i thought, but they would not be in it.

grab the harrop one as linked above

You'll need to cut up some Ford or Commodore axles and get them restudded
