Gilmer belt keeps jumping off

As said, theres only one tried and true method to fix a gilmer belt setup.

Step one, remove all the gilmer belt components,

Step two, refit all the v belt components,

Step three, fit a v belt.

is the long nose water pump the right one for the vn-vt efi motor or is it suppose to be the short pump?

just called a few wreckers and they said $200 for the original 3 pulleys?? Are you F**King kidding me!! think i might try fix what i got

yes..i think..the long nose pump was for the efi motors coz they had extra pulley grooves on the crank,air con..power steering etc

as well as the multi rib belt..the main drive belt..the early motors didnt have that type of belt

dont know if you want to go to the trouble but..an early short nose water pump would probably work in your app

Short early pump 92mm face to pulley flange
Long later pump 110mm face to pulley flange
