Great resto Brad
I've had 5 HR's, 2 panelvans, 2 Premiers and 1 ute
This is my last one before I sold it to get the LC GTR
And this is what happened to one of those panelvans back in 1969
Will it be finished by November when we will be back in Tassie ?

Wouldn't know as I was in hospital for 17 weeks and when I came out I really didn't want to see it.
My dad is on the right
AND that is what hit me 4ft into the dirt on my side of the road
AND why is my steering wheel is bent over My arm did that as I tried to get the car out of the way of the Valiant, 1968 model I think. Broke the Humerous, Ulna and Radius of the left arm.
His left wheel is in his glovebox

I also broke my right femur (Thigh bone, biggest & strongest bone in the body) and smashed left patela (knee)

I used to think that too but when you see videos like this, I know which car I'd rather be in

Thanks buddy! No I'm not.. i am starting to think that I am a forum-whore.. I'm registered on so many! So, I have been trying to steer clear of that one!! Sounds the goods though??
Anyways, some more pic's! Got her sand-blasted a few weeks ago, which made the rust appear a bit more :( I have done very, very little with rust repairs so I am going to start a thread in the "paint and panel" section on this forum.. if you can help with some advise, please let me know!!

Posted 10 May 2013 - 12:23 PM

Pretty sure they unbolt.
I asked the same question of Dirtbag when he was doing the HK/HT Monaro.
For someone who has only had LC/LJ's from that era it is bloody annoying cause nothing just unbolts on them :-)

Its the same with my Cooper S, every panel is spot welded.
Posted 19 May 2013 - 08:12 PM
Yup yup, the un-bolt There are 14 bolts holding it on.. so one would be silly not to take it off!!
The job this week is to bolt it back on for the last time, and then start making the rotisserie mounts

How did you go getting the 4 bolts out at the bottom that go through the legs? They can be a right pain in the neck on early Holdens.

One thing I see in your favour.... bloody big shed! I had the chance to go to a 6x9mtr jobby, but didn't want to lose the orange tree, ended up with a (now too small) 6x7.2. I should have thought - 'I can see the fricken supermarket from here... bugger the tree'.
