the bars are certainly a discussion point.

they are off the hatch originally, i'm so unhappy with the rare spares rubber fitment that i might bite the bullet and get the original ones rechromed.

not a lot of chrome platers left here with a good rep though.

an alternate would be the rare spares exchange bars, but considering my run with their products to date, i'm very hesitant

Welby, i just bought front and rear bars to suit rubber strip from Vinney's eBay store (vinneydi) and they look great, a bit pitted on the back from blasting the rust off but you don't see that.

Very happy with them at the moment but haven't put them on yet.

That deeper yellow with black wheel centres & polished lips imo just makes chrome bars like the mini skirt ..... it just tingles all the right senses. Its scary but taking on the chrome plating situation is almost like preparing and knowing a high speed cricket ball is going to take your manhood out. What a bloody drama, not just in wasting money but in frustration. Does anyone do quality chrome like I used to get locally? I got a set of the re-manufactured bars which where ok and better than the re-chromes I had seen, but I certainly am not blown away.

As far as RS I just can't do that anymore. They have gone down a path that only sends you to the funny farm in frustration. Its hard enough doing these full rotisserie rebuilds let alone trying to fit parts that are quite obviously not worth even the value of the paper invoice they came with.

Swwweeeeeet.

Black mirrors and chrome, rubbered bumpers would really set this car off IMO. the yellow/chrome/black look is good.

Fr0ck yes! post a pic of them fitted asap.

The car looks mint. I like the yellow mirrors.

Absynth was the factory colour of my car... if it can look that good it might be returning to its original colour one day.
