Rad temp switch from a late VW T3 caravelle is dual stage, 1st at 89c, 2nd at 95c. Not sure on thread size (spose I could measure the spare one in the glovebox of my T3 if anyone wants to know) but it would be easy to wire up to twin thermos....

Yea Garth if you could measure it that would be good.. would be good if it was smaller then 22mm thread diameter.

If it is, wanna sell your spare? or do you know where to get one
