I know of a few
I looked at a green Sunbird hatch for sale in Sacramento (converted to 6cyl) while I was there in 09

I brought over a white one the same time as my red one that I sold and it stayed local here as far as I know. The POS green one I had seen when it came into the country, not sure what ever happened to it after the guy tried to get rid of it on ebay though ?
My red one (and the white one I had) have been here since 2000 though, longer than the others as far as I know at least.

There was also a guy (I emailed with back and forth a couple times years ago) in Michigan somewhere that had a burganday color hatch with a 400 Chev in it that he drag raced. He also had (all though it ended up for sale a couple times on ebay too) a HQ Monaro drag car...kinda rough and I "think",,,it's been a while, but had crudely been converted to LHD. Car just had a flat metal dash in it, old roll cage, etc. Again, it's been a little while though.

I had brougt another white one here (the one that my red car's wheels and drivetrain ended up in) that I was going to do up and sell here, but I ended up shipping it back and selling there

I seem to remember hearing of another Torana through the grapevine that was over here but never really found out much on it for sure.

I’m in the market for a set of new A9X flares for my LX Sedan.
Been doing a little bit of research and i have been told that Fibresports Automotive are pretty good.
They are in Taren Point NSW 2229. They are selling the complete kit for $600.

You want to put big wheels on the back of a hatch get yourself a set of these puppies. They are 20mm wider than standard and are very good quality. They come from Melbourne and cost $180 for a set of rears.

i just bought a set of those wider flairs from that supplier for my hatch and they fitted like a glove. They were a good price too I thought.

If anyone is looking for wider rear hatch flares you can get them from HORNET COMPOSITES 03 59643761, they are at 11 Maurice Rd, Wandin North VIC 3139. I believe they were $180 a set for the rears only. I'll be getting mine in the next few weeks.

Ta Ruts.

I'm not after the wider ones, in fact L34 would do me nicely.

I'll try the ones datto suggested, and report back.

Maybe grab 2 pairs of those wider ones and bring some over with you on your next visit...I got plenty of tools you could borrow when you fit them.

Some 315/30-18 out back on mine would be kinda nice..hmmmmmmm....

Actually, looks like a 295/30 would nearly go under now ok as things are.

The L34 flares are plenty sufficient to run 17 x 10's with correct back spacing?

I wouldn't want to run more than 8's on the arse without cutting guards.

I don't understand why people would have flairs and not cut guards? They will scrape or if you have wheels that are narrow not to that defeats the reason to flair it.

I got a set of ebay, not the best finish, certainly not john wilson standard.
My painter says they will come up with a bit of work. BUT .......

I agree. I guess some people are nervous about cutting guards for flares on particular vehicles such as L31's and A9X etc etc, what many fail to grasp is that guards are cut for flares from dealers etc etc. Plus they can be reinstated by good panel beaters if you are that worried about it.
