well things are moving ahead steadily for Toranafest 2012. Firstly I would like to announce that the "Official" Toranafest Magazine this year is...

Thanks to Matt and the Team for being part of this years Toranafest. It's certainly going to be aother great year!

I would also like to let you know that we already have a stellar line up of VIP's this year. Some of those include;
Bev Brock,
Colin Bond,
Joe Felice,
Ian Tate,
Bob Skelton,
Don Holland, and
Those crazy Nowacki Brothers, Ned and Bruce!!
and we are not stopping there either!

As things progress we will keep you all informed about what will be a fantastic weekend.

Would be a very big hit with the kids and of course mum & dad have to bring them along.
McDonalds/Kentucky Ducky etc call that smart marketing.

There are 4 very nice Toranas from down this way that look like being Toranafest Virgins come September

Trying very hard to get the missus to bring along her newly sprayed Hatch but ATM it is more a financial thing being a big obstacle.

Suggestion for this years goodies bag shirt

Same as the 2009 pit crew shirt but with the "GIANT KILLER" 28C on the front

Hey mate,

we have been discussing this with the house but the problem is that the kids that are there are normally in the hospital having their treatments. We even discussed doing a drive around the hospital but their are some isuues with insurances as well as the fact that most of these kids are seriously ill.

At best, I think that we are looking at organising a photo shoot a couple of weeks before for the local papers.

Just to let you all know, the Toranafest Website is now up and running for 2012.

Alot of the guys stay at the Motels at Heatherbrae,that is also where the Saturday night Dinner/Meet and Great is.But there are also other stays closer to where Torana Fest is on Sunday.
And if your refering to Sunday show and shine(the park)I think its from 730/800am.

ok cool. I was thinking of staying at the motel a few hundred mtrs away form show n shine park, but i think they wont like me starting the car up early in the morning in the underground car park. lol It might be just a tad bit too noisy.
Cant wait for this event.
