Personal opinion, but the paint exposed door tops has the smell of poverty pack all over it, especially in the later models where the S model had the exposed sills and the SL didnt.


I think so too but like me, you must've seen a lot of S models and not so much of the LH 5000's with the paint.

I had my door tops painted when the car was painted just in case I wanted to keep it clean...

I ended up puting new vinal on as I thought it was missing something when I put the trim on..

Personal preference but I reckon it needs it on...
