I wish I had finished it. Things have been on the pause for a while but have started to move again as of last week. My diff is off to get done, restoring and painting all the small bits.
And the motor is all ready to go off to get dynoed
Just waiting for my spot as he has a fair bit of back log.
Will probably start assembling it once the days start getting abit longer, I am hanging to finish it now..

What a pain the door belts are. I am not sure if the ones I have
Are just hard to fit or there all made like that. I might go and buy a rare spairs one tomorrow to compare.
My skyline diff has been blasted and I droped it off to mc Donald's bros to weld up the torana pick ups.
They where querying the cast iron part but they told me they will put it in the jig to see how much actually goes on the

1 more glass to go.. I need a new door belt. Dosent matter what I do I just can't seem to click this one in.
I did a to do list. Wow it's so overwhelming what needs to be done. Seems never ending hopfully can start chipping away at it as the weather gets better.

Also a lot of small bits around the car.
Hopfully this is the year I see it on the road!!
Attempted to do my own headliner, went pretty well untill
I got to the back I think I cut to high up it's right at the bottom so hoping parchel shelf will cover it and maybe won't be noticeable. Other wise I need to buy a new one and start again.
Need to get the screens next
Some pics
My engine about to get dynoed.l

Only 350 with VN heads and a decent carb, must have a baby cam in it Nick? None the less mate that is going to be a beautiful car once it's finished, Keep going bud, your getting close to the home stretch.

And my carby is a 750 hp series. I think he only pushed it out to 5500-6000 revs prob didn't want to blow it as he didn't build the engine lol. might add a spacer and invest in some better headers in the near feature.
Still dosent feel like the home Strech, I think once the engine goes in I will start to see some light at the end of the tunnel.

350 hp in a Torry is plenty. Will go like stink. My old hatch had the same and was a quick little street car. Love the build so far and love Barbados Green :-)

I just thought it sounded a bit light for a VN headed engine particularly with the 750 HP series carby. I do love the car though and it's going to be a sweet little ride that's for sure.

It's a standard stroke 308. Didn't spend to much to be honest on it. As long as it starts and goes I am happy. Better than driving my navara lol

Stock stroke and a hydraulic cam that is good numbers. My 308 had max ported HQ heads, Crane 304 hydraulic cam, a perfomer manifold and 770 Holley and like I said, made 350 FWHP. So good results for you. Enought o run a decent 12 second quater mile. A stroker crank, and a small solid cam will get you to the 400 hp mark easily enough if you wanted more. Even just a soild cam will produce better hp figures too.

Plan is to fit the car over the engine, car to back to panel shop for its final cut and buff then fit screens and interior.
Sounds so close getting exited.

I cant remember whether you're putting an auto or manual in your car. If it is a manual I know a guy in Lalor who's been doing gearboxes for over 40 years who can help you out. He done mine in 2 weeks and that was a full rebuild. Let me know if you want his number?
