Hey Nick, just wondering how things are going with the LH, any closer to seeing the road?

Keep going Nick! Set backs, issues, problems and re-work all make the end result so much more satisfying. At the end point the extra time and costs are an investment. Both in your pride and joy and personnel skills developed.
Do you have any further details on the oil pressure issue that presented with the 308? I learned a lot form my mistake. The rag protecting the engine from dust was left in valley when I installed the intake manifold. Now I know the Holden oil system very well and what parts wear out first when low on oil pressure.
Cheers, Steve.

When we stripped the engine down we found big clearances in the mains, cam tunnel and the oil pump bush was also very loose, apparantly all of those above together causing it to have very little pressure. It was only a cheap rebuild, I guess you do pay for what you get. This new engine has plenty of pressure it makes me happy

Looking good Nicko. Let me know when you get it on the road and we can go for a cruise up to Heathcote or something. My cars pretty much identical to yours only grey.
