Cut out Washer bottle mounts & welded them up. Washer bottle will be in the boot :driving: :shoot:

Looking great Trofa. Question: have you stitch welded around the wheel arches or used sikaflex?

Hi Rob nah mate she is all mig welded up. I wanted that smooth look plus also didn't want anything cracking when she gets the horsepower dropped in. Takes a fair bit of time but I think the result will be gr8. :driving:

Rubbed the jambs down again ready for another hit in the background. So I started on the bonnet so I can fit the cowl scoop :driving:

Well ive glued one side of the scoop today. Put some clamps on it to sit over nite & will attack the other side tomorrow :driving:

Out of quriousity, will the bog crack over time due to the different materials? I'm not asking to doubt your method, rather to clear a thought I have.
I don't know any other way, but just thought I would ask.

Sorry I beg to differ. I have slid the cowl underneath the bonnet skin. Then it has all been glued & filled. I have done several this way & no dramas. Just as long as the back brace is stiffened & reinforced all should be good :driving: :party:

Cool, can you show how to reinforce the brace?
I want to put one on mine, but realistically I don't need te cut out, I just like the look
