Yes it used to be the same in 70/71 you would see cars driving around and think a Fraud was a Holden or visa versa.

Again it used to be the same in 77/78 you could see the same colour Fraud or Holden and swear they must have been inside each others design studio which is why like dunndores and fal-coons today they ended up looking like identical twins. :stirpot: LOL

There should not be any brands on new car yards.

Be a lots more efficient to just get the car salesman to ask at the time of sale
"What badge do you want us to fit on your New Car" - Dunnydore or Fal-coon?? :stirpot:

Boring plastic overweight and dull.

The one thing that pisses me off....

theyve moved the window switches to the drivers armrest...

I thought being an export LHD vehicle, it would be more cost effective to have them in the centre like they have been? no need for a change to anything then...

As long as there is still black/grey cloth interiors and they dont go beige/tan like Honda, thats OK.

I think its like any new model commodore, it always takes a while to get used to and eventually, it looks "like a commodorE"

I REALLY like the HSV mockup, the camaro style tailights are awesome! would then pave the way for the camaro to come as the "monaro" version of the GTS!

I prefer window switches on the door, personally... Can't wait to see the colour charts, sports models and rims :)

Also might have to sell my VY and pick up a nice cheap VE SS wagon as soon as the VF is released :spoton:

Theres already bargains around!

I'll be hanging onto my VE goon for a while I think (only just bought the bloody thing!)

Will be interesting to see if they add more room in the cargo area for the wagon. There is a suprising shortage in the VE sportswagons (mainly vertical)

Yeah, some great deals going at the moment Tim! We got an ex demonstrator SSV Wagon with 7000km on the clock for almost 20k less than new!

Speaking on the VF Wheels... I saw a set of 20s in at Holden the other week that looked absolutely HORN! I'm trying to get a set to fit up to my wagon!

well... normally I'd just buy what I want and hide it as long as possible (or just have them turn up and say "ohhh I forgot I ordered these")

But weddings are bloody expensive.

Chris, after funding the house, the kid, the missus, and saving up for a shed, I've got about enough left over to put fuel in my VY, if I don't have a beer on the weekend...

I think I'll be waiting a while to upgrade the daily haha

Homebrew setup is at the top of the list, after the shed is up... Currently got nowhere to put one!

At least the Holden has better feng-shui, a smile instead of a frown (Ford).
