Looking good Craig, keep at it and you'll be cruise'n in no time. If the pits are a hassle, I've heard it's more convenient to get inspected by a private contractor. Think it's about $100? Marty

Bought this

Attached File  IMG_0862.JPG   149.57K   3 downloads

Fitted like this

Attached File  IMG_0865.JPG   121.06K   3 downloads

Button to activate (Sorry bout the terrible pic)

Attached File  IMG_0868.JPG   128.57K   3 downloads

And Voila!!

Attached File  IMG_0866.JPG   180.63K   3 downloads

No extra holes drilled, although I had to enlarge the choke hole slightly to fit the switch, but that's ok, it is an LJ lower dash and already has holes in it so it will be replaced anyway.

I know it doesn't look that pretty, but I'm all about function over form right now, and my squirties are better than new now  :spoton:

Often wondered why Holden used the manual pump on the LC when the bigger Holdens had the electric unit.

Same as the external bonnet release. A mate and I both had batteries stolen at different times.

And the easy access without a key through the quarter windows. There were 2 solutions to that though.

I need a LOT of stuff mate, including full interior, but the LJ interior isn't too bad.

When you see it in the flesh you'll see a lot of imperfections the pics don't show but I don't care, its the best GTR I've ever had.  :spoton:

Cheers Dave, can't wait to give it a burl on the open road  :3gears:

I stand corrected.

My mates LJ had one but guess someone did the swap before he bought it.
