I can't believe how quick its come around
I have got so much to do
RDO's on Roster are locked in
Just need my mates (Keith and Tezza) hint hint to come over and do some work to the cars
Green car has only traveled less than 500 kms since last year,so needs a good shakedown

G'day All
Just been out in the shed making brackets, spraying, changing and re-arranging my display for the Fest and goddamn it's fur king cold out there, been raining and the wind feels like it is coming off snow Brrrrrrrrrrrrr
Anyway it will be different and definitely historical with what I believe is a one "off" only piece of memorabilia which came into my possession a month ago
This will probably be the only time I will display it as Toranafest to me, is the one and only event that will do it justice.
As for the trip up it will be business or that should be enjoyment as usual and will start here in Cootamundra at 7am on the Friday
1st stop at Maccas South Goulburn 'bout 9am
2nd stop at truck stop on the M7 (Westlink) 'bout 11am
3rd stop at Wyong Twin Caltex servos' on the F3 (Newcastle Freeway) 'bout 1pm
Then onto the Fest Motel arriving mid arvo at which time I will pour myself out of the SS and collapse in bed as my vibrating/heat seat insert has kacked itself meaning the ol' bod will need a rest
BUT I wouldn't let some discomfort stop me from coming to the Fest

Barry, I'd love to have a sleep in like that on the Friday morning.
For us to make it to the QTCC meeting point at Chinderah on time we have to leave home at 3.30 am.
Next year I can sleep in, as the base for Toranarama is only 20 minutes from home.

Lucky you for next year but for me I might go down the coast for a show in Moruya.
Probably for us it will be a trip to Darwin to see our daughter and grand-kids but definitely won't be driving and more than likely will be in June.

Im in too Tony , I pciked up my car finally tonight after 8 weeks of torture with my auto trans, all done and working well , just gotta give the car a once over and maybe if im keen change the nylothane bushes in the front end to rubber

The Canberra Torana Club is leaving here at 7.30 on friday the 13th and be at goulburn at 8.30 ane the m7 in Sydney at about 11.30 on the Des West memorial cruise all welcome just call me on the day to arrange meet up points

yep picton rd interchange at we will work it out probably 7am as the traffic will be bad as we get closer to tonys maybe we should go camden valley way from narellan or northern rd/badgerys creek rd/ elizabeth dr we'll just listen to the traffic reports.

bloody hell Rob i need my beauty sleep, What about 7.30am ? Shouldnt take any longer than an hour to get to Tony's, which means ill leave around just before 7 from my house.

im just worried about keith being from a lower socioeconomic area he might eat all our food before we get there.

Seems like it will be more like 7.45 there now, I was talking to Rob today and we will meet him around 8.30 at the overpass,

Just a note that if you are travelling up from the south and going along any of the toll roads like the M7 (Westlink) and you don't have an e-pass then go to www.roam.com.au and you can get a visitors e-pass.
You will need a credit card
I get one every time I go to the Fest as I rarely go to Sydineeeeeee
AND BTW, there is usually a fella along the M7 on a motor bike wearing a blue uniform with a funny looking hair dryer looking thingy in his hands
