Hi all, I need a new High Volume Oil Pump and was looking on the net and found the following -

Austral Part # M308HV

JP Performance Part # JP9491

Speedmaster Part # PCE303.1015

Does anyone know which is the best one to buy or is there another option I haven't seen yet.  They vary in price from $85 to $200.

Or more importantly is there any one of the three that have know issues and I should steer clear of?

Any help would be appreciated.

Pull it apart and clean it out thoroughly before you put it into service.

I had a JP worst thing I could have ever done, High volume doesn't fix the low pressures of the holden motors,

You can ask any engine builder you would be better off getting your standard oil pump blueprinted and the relief valve re shimmed, and it costs half the price of a JP

See this tread from AussieV8 some good info ih here about blue printing the oil pump. You could do this to the existing one as greenmachine has pointed out or buy an new std JP pump and do the same if your original one is too far gone.
