The reason that the Post Count has been turned off is simply because Post Counts have no value now that Chopper has left us.

The model code for early Holdens goes like this. A=0, B=9, C=8, D=7, E=6, F=5, G=4, H=3, J=2 & K=1 (note I is not used because it is easily confused with 1). So FJ = 56, EK = 61 & EH = 63 etc. The only one that's not correct is FB which = 59, because its release was delayed by a few months. This only works prior to HD, which rumour has it was named after Holden's General Manager's at the time (David Hegland) initials in reverse. But HD to HZ all were H, probably just standing for Holden.
W, T, U, V & J are all GM internation code prefixes for different sized cars. HB just followed on from the HA Viva which was a Vauxhall code, not a Holden one.

I forgot to answer the other queries about SL etc.
S = Special (Torana) or Sports (Commodore), SS = Super Sports (Torana) or Sports Sedan (Commodore), L = Luxury, SL = Super Luxury, SL/R Super Luxury/Racing (some people say Rally), SL/E = Super Luxury Executive. GT is Grand Touring (from Grande Tourismo, Italian, the first GTs were Ferraris), so GTS Grand Touring Sports & GTR = Grand Touring Racing (again, some people say Rally).
XU1, A9X & L34 are just part of the GM-H alpha-numeric option numbering system.

I'm 500km away from Home, Which means I'm 500km from my LJ.
I get mega-bored up here. No Cars or Alcohol. Hell, I even miss WORKING!
Holidays start next weekend, and they couldnt come sooner.
