Has anyone got pictures fitting the round gauges to the original dash facia of the LH/LX dash. I'm not keen on fitting a flat panel and having the gauges on top.

Someone posted on Facebook yesterday pics of their dash using 4" speedhut gauges in a stock dash
The bezels are visiable which is a shame
They do a 4.5" now that might prove a better solution but I haven't done any measurements yet
LS2hatch Andy modded some gauges in I believe... if you can find his build thread or website it might be worth a look

Yea Ken thats what I was trying to avoid, I love the old school look of the three hole dash. I wanted to keep the old dash facia and add the new gauges.
This was always going to be bit off a problem due to most gauges being round and the dash holes being square with rounded edges.
The workshop that is building my car fitted the round gauges and filled in the gaps and i'm pretty happy with the result.

Row,
Speed hut do 4" gauges and if you get the quad, speedo with hi beam and indicators and the tacho. In the tacho they can fit up to 3 LEDs for brake, park brake and alt . Just need to run a inline light for the alternator. The fuel gauge is compatible with the original Torana sender. Just have to set it up. Comes in various colours.
These gauges fit behind the original dash and look amazing.
I don't have any pictures as I did this conversion on my brothers car cant find any pictures at the moment (He went black yellow) and I wish I had done the same with my car.

A better solution may be to fit the gauges into the factory cluster, which at least solves the "round peg in a square hole" problem.
See here for a couple of good examples:
