Do you get anything out of that or have you just donated the car for a set period?

No I don't however when I was leaving they gave me a $200 gift voucher to use at the resort. For me I was chuffed to just get asked to display the Torana.

Your LC is amazing as is your HK. A credit to you, no wonder they want it on display

You would be pretty excited, only you must be very patient to have it gone for 2 months (and trusting)

STOP. STOP. STOP. ON MY WAY TO WORK THIS MORNING THEY WERE SETTING UP TENTS ETC ON THE FORESHORE. I HAVE JUST REALISED THAT TOMORROW IS THE GREAT OCEAN OTWAY CLASSIC BIKE RIDE. THEY START AT TORQUAY AND GO TO DEANS MARSH, ONOT LORNE AND BACK AROUND GREAT OCEAN ROAD TO TORQUAY. THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF BIKE RIDERS AND ITS NOT A DAY YOU WANT TO BE ON THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD ANYWHERE.

SO IF I WERE YOU GUYS I WOULD GO ON A DIFFERENT CRUISE ROUTE TOMORROW AND WE ORGANISE A GREAT OCEAN ROAD CRUISE LATER ON.

Thanks for letting us know!!

Everyone, let's still meet at Point Cook at 9.30am and work out something from there. (we could head up to Ballarat...or Castlemaine (CRS tour? - lol)...or Queencliff.....)

Damo, we can meet you in Geelong in your HK (and any other Geelong people) so you don't need to miss out on the fun :D

Thousands of bike riders, loud cars, sounds like more fun than ever to me!!!!
Queenscliff could be the go. Easy cruise, beach to pull up at, not too far not too close ( well, maybe a bit close for Macka). We can always extend on the day if we feel the need.
I'm just keen to get out and about, my car is finally running properly!

Yeah I agree Queenscliff sounds good.

Which carpark are we meeting at, the Maccas carpark or the Shell?

The misses and kids will be joining in after all for tomorrow btw. :D

This link is to the car park. I think the McDonalds car park will be bigger than the servo. We will meet then head to Queenscliff.
Queenscliff if down through Geelong and down near Ocean Grove. It's on the beach. This is where the ferry leaves to go to Sorento. Nice area

Cool.
I had mine up in the air today to tighten over everything. A couple of bolts a little loose :o
Also checked all fluids, adjusted brakes, washed and chamoised and ready to rock and roll.

Nig I can't see it taking you more than an hour. Down the Monash, through the tunnel, over the bridge, and keep going about another 10-15 minutes and all is good.

Haven't had a chance to wash mine yet, maybe in the morning :)

I have sent a PM to all that didn't have my number. If I have missed you and you want a number to contact tomorrow if needed, please let me know.

See you all tomorrow.

My car is washed, fueled up and ready to go so bring it on :D:D:D

I think my car just doesn't like cruises with you boys. Both times Iv gotten only as far af a few mins up the road & something happens. Last time the bonnet kept opening & I couldn't keep it shut, this time the old fuel pick up in the side of the tank started pissing fuel out when I filled it up. I'm lucky I noticed it as it was pouring out like a tape & I'd just washed my car at the car wash 5mins eariler so I thought it was excess water running off it at first. Could of ended really badly.
Hope it was a good day anyway.

Cheers, Nig.

Whats a good run without a broken waterpump mount bolt and a cracked water pump mounting flange. Lucky it happened close to home.

Was a good day too, good to get out with some nice cars.
