I received a call last night from the original owner of mine. I sent him a letter 6 months ago and never heard back till last night. He's 84. Owner no.2 and I (#3) are meeting him to show him the car Friday on the way to PI.

I got home last night after going Melbourne to Perth with my new Car Trailer. I saw you go past at about the Great Australia Bight. I was in the Silver Adventra with double stacked car trailers on the back. Its a great trip.

Yes that car with Quiney at the wheel and one passenger did pass a certain A9X at Wanneroo.......just. Not bad when you consider the A9X had 4 in the car and the footbrake still on. Never let the facts get in the way of a good story though....

The look on your face Baron was still priceless Two kids (or3) probably still would not of made much difference and the burnt out handbrake had ceased any retardation 3 laps prior

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to look and shown an interest so far. It's been a bit hard to get photos when you are on your own and there are a few spots where I saw a good photo opportunity, as I drove past!! To late....
