Great sharing guys. I think the white hatch on the (fake?) draglites on the last page is knoath's old car?

Thanks Grant,
My wife did the city cruise behind the Rolls Royce, and beside the white Lj, our car is rated at only 10 hp (1172cc sidevalve 4 cylinder) so no burnouts or skids for us, there we a lot of beautiful very well presented cars as well as some less so like our Prefect.
We had a great time and were absolutely exhausted by Sunday.
It reminded me of ants from the 1990's when torana's were every where.
Seemed to be a lot more Holden's than other makes all very nicely done up.

Judges would not know that, they just look for the wow factor.

These were my pic of a couple of the nicest torries there, especially like the LC.

Interesting to note for me was on the LJ XU1, clearly the guy was going for top concourse original entry, but all the black along the lower sills, tail was all done in Matt black... I'm sure this is suppose to be gloss. Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful resto job/car.

I must say I thought the same for the LC GTR. It was an immaculate car, absolutely beautiful. But shouldn't it have a single carb to be original? It had magazine articles of the car beside it saying "best GTR in Aus" but I didn't think they came out with triples. That would make this modified?
Again not taking anything away from this car,it was better than the LJ in my opinion ( not to say theLJ didn't deserve the award!!!)

I doubt Summernats works to a concourse judging system.

And never assume car magazine journalists know anything about cars.

You either need a modified car, or, a good example of an original older car, such as a muscle car.

Just no standard commodores falcons or rice burners

Hey Grant, what are the punters like around the cars at the nats? Is there respect for people's property? Were you able to leave yr hatch unattended etc..

Hi Matt, generally the people looking around the cars aren't too bad. I did see a few idiots touching a couple cars, but they were few and far between. I had no problem walking away from mine, but to be honest, I don't stress and leave my car anywhere, within reason.

If it where of show quality, it would be the dust that would get to me, not the spectators

The VK wagon that was revealed and parked inside the hall, was later cut loose on the burnout pad. They gave it a hard time too

The blown 202 was not sounding so good Saturday arvo! They were camped near us and was far from sounding on song. The top of the motor was off Saturday night and still working on it Sunday morning. Don't know what the outcome was with it in the end

Didn't know you could upload video here, even though it was only a short one.

A question for Datto. What's the maximum allowed size of a video here?
