yes i must have a lip. i dont like the flush look either,

the corvette style look ok, just need to find similar with a lip and 2 different offsets.

Wheels on app in action.
Not for the style. But shows what black will do

Chrome lip and black

THe chrome lip black center looks ok IMO.

The infinti gunmetal rim on the app looks identical to what's on Jeffs car. If you could get that rim as a polished rim instead of the black centre you'd be laughing.

Not identical...sorta similar maybe ?

Those are sort of 5 twin spokes where mine are symmetrical all around..

Should take a peek on Centerline's site too...they do some clearance 2 piece billet wheels that can be made to suit back spacing and prices are pretty cheap...they have one or two that look sorta like the first wheel in your pics.

Like these maybe ?

I had hotwires on my car back when...now my brake rotors are larger in diameter then the hotwires were. :D

Your current wheels are not the worst wheels I've seen.
To me, it kind of makes your car individual as I've not seen them on a hatch/sedan/anything ever before.
The old school wheels are cool and I think V5's are great too (had them before).

Tough decision as wheels are a huge part of a cars look and you have a unique look. Most don't.

What about these Jason? Grants got these on his car and they do look good.

Come to think of it, they might be too wide for your car.

I deal in wheels a bit and could have had all sorts of different kinds but I hadn't really seen anything that really grabbed me...most were too modern sorta looking, etc. A company we used to deal with buying aluminum outers from ,who also did wheels themselves had done a little run of these centers for Porsche cup race cars..So they were forged and light weight..but mainly as soon as I had first seen one I knew it was the perfect look I wanted..I built the brakes around the wheels even to be sure and clear.

There are some other cool looking big money wheels out there now with some of the huge dollar pro-touring cars being built but aside from the cost I am still really happy with mine. :) (and couldn't really picture my car with anything else)

Are Simmons still made?

Tempe tyres were making them but I did see a simmons wheel machine on eBay awhile ago for 99k so not sure?

I got a quote from them about 18 months ago.

A couple of years since this video was published but we can only hope Simmons Wheels are here to stay, if not I'd better get me a bank loan and tuck a few sets away in the shed, if there are still any available!

P.S. love the top comment on this video's YouTube page

Hey Paul, could that have been a CNC machine for making railway wheels instead?

There's a company called Simmons Machine Tool Corporation that makes them, nothing to do with our Simmons Wheels as far as I can tell?
