WOW those are excellent photos of these top notch cars. IMO this is easily the best race on the best track in Australia. Will be there next year for sure.

It is a long way to come from WA Cameron but you wont be disappointed.

The event is growing both in spectator numbers and manufacturer involvement every year.

BMW will run a GT3 car (below) in the Australian GT Championship this year and will be at next years 12 Hour. Others are expected to field GT3 cars in 2017.

Col, I actually keyed them as 11 separate posts.

Not sure why the system formatted them as a single post?

Hi All,

From what I have seen, is we have about a 5 minute window to post pictures into one post,

and only being able to post 10 pictures ( 1000kB max ) per upload.

So if you prepare all your pictures before you do your postings, you can achieve.  :3gears:

Col, I actually keyed them as 11 separate posts.

Not sure why the system formatted them as a single post?

typing text takes time, so if you type your text on a clipboard before hand,

you will have all the text included too.  :spoton:

Dave, that is pretty much how it went for me, I had the photos reduced and in a file and was logged on using Google Chrome. Not sure if this makes a difference but Chrome certainly seems to operate well for posting.

Also, when uploading pictures the system seems to require text? Thus the 11 dots (.) preceding the photos.

Good point Steve,

Didn't know that no text was an issue, cause I am a chatterbox.

Only difference is, is I have the Text in the post first,

and then upload all the pictures, 10 at a time in the same post.

As each 10 load into the Box, I then add text between the uploaded as well,

and then post the lot.

If I thought the time limit was near, I would post what was already done, and post more to see if more get in.

On the other hand, we have about 15 minutes to re-edit a posting.

I use Google Chrome also.  :spoton:

Yes distance is great but thankfully the plane flight to Sydney is not bad compared to the drive to the mountain. I have already booked holidays for that week in 2017. What an awesome looking car that BMW is. Its such a great thing with the GT3 format as it makes world car manufacturers and race teams want to compete and bring the worlds best modified gt production tourers to our best track. Its little wonder our V8 mob brought this race as its going to be the race that we can at least relate to. The V8 format has run its course imo and has lost its relevance.
