Pre 76, 245 fronts and 275 rears for all.
5 litre Holden or Chev for the Toranas.
That would be cool if you could run somethink akin to a 1969 Z28 spec 302 SBC with a Tremec or Muncie and a 9" rear axle. Would make an LH a decent race car with brake and suspension mods.

9 inch diff by race products, most use either tex racing 4 speed(full house spec t10) or jerrico(nascar spec).
There are weight limits, torana allowed to run lighter due to 5litre engine, less power.
Common wheel and tyre sizes.
And a rule some people won't like, torana is allowed to use the 5litre chev engine due to been able to get cheaper/reliable more power.

The TCM specs are pretty wild now, most are running similar things.

I was watching the TCM practice on Fox yesterday, this one uses a 308 and as a result is allowed to be 100kg lighter. Limiter set to 8000rpm. The cars that run a 302 have to carry an extra 100kg as the Chevs produce more power. Commentators were saying though that there are smart 308 builders in Australia with bulk Commodore Cup and similar experience that can pull 580hp out of one under the rules but the challenge is keeping them together. Apparently they were popping the heads last year.

Block strength is not as good with holden.
Torque power have addressed the issues with holden motors with there new little paw iron block and heads with extra bolts, they shld fill the void and push the holden motor forward, yay for us holden fans.
Always going to be hard on the big tracks to run down the fords bigger engines.
Fords are allowed rack and pinion steering and most cars use similar brake setups too.
Love these cars, better to watch than the v8's

Bowe put it on pole.
He won all the races
Set fastest laps and I think a new lap record.
Didn't scratch the car
I can't see any reason why the car owner wouldn't let him have another go,i reckon Bowe could be keen.
It was hitting good speed on the s/f straight not far off a V8 supercar, the gearing for a shorter track could have helped with 4 speed box.
I reckon it will go ok at longer tracks if they put a good driver in it.
