Yes you do notice a difference with 3 link, has near zero rear torque steer, a big thing at targa when negotiate high speed bumpy bends can really feel the rear move around it doesn't spit you out just feels bit uneasy.
The 3 link eliminates that, also allows the rear to squat under power, more weight transfer to rear, more traction.

Maybe just your use of terminology but I thought squatting was when the weight comes off the axle, such as the springs compress, you want anti squat where the rear suspension lifts the rear of the car, where the weight pushes down on your axle.

Squatting is moving weight from front of the car to the rear of the car, it pushes down on your springs to exert more force into tyres.
Anti squat is good for tuning a vehicle, eg. More anti squat when accelerating mid corner forces more weight transfer to front wheels gives more turn.
The standard torana suspension is good for lifting the rear on power.
All depends what you are doing with the car, seen some drag racers use anti squat in a way to launch the car.
We use anti squat to tune the car mid and exit of corner.
