Very likely and leave the thongs at home. Might have to leave the Celica at home and drive the fibreglass Pride out instead.

In discussion with the guild of madDaisy Chains about a roadtrip, see how we go.

Hey DJ, has the CWA made a decision yet? :)

Call it constructive criticism... That was a disappointing car show..

A huge oval with cars randomly parked all over the place....

I saw plenty of classic holdens driving past and parking down the road somewhere... Would have been great if they could have come in and displayed also... Room certainly wasn't an issue and may have increased visitor numbers..

Anyways was good to catch up with some members and don't get me wrong, there were a lot of nice gtr/Xu-1's there.... Was just boring...

Hey Adam, sorry we didn't catch up mate. You must have driven past as I was walking to the entry gate.

Agree, big oval and cars spread out too much but I enjoyed looking at the cars and meeting up with Brian (dublinxu1) his mate Dave with his Champagne 73 XU1 and Glenn (Torry72). Thanks for the chat fellas. Dane and Huddo great to meet you both, appreciate you both taking 5 minutes out of your busy schedule to say hi.

Lots of nice Torana's there and seeing them makes me want to go and clean my LJ from top to bottom and fix up a few niggling little things but I'm trying really hard to resist the urge. :)

Yes I have pics, just need to see if they came out OK. I'm not the worlds greatest photographer.

Please be patient.

Cheers.

Is it true a car that has won 2 previous nationals was not allowed for judging?

Surely not as that just doesn't make any sense :wtf:

I went for a look late morning, only took a little while to overhear a conversation about restamps, dual casting dates and ulterior motives lol..

Was an awesome sight seeing so many of these cars in one place!

One of my favorites too Gene. Ash vinyl. Not to everyone's liking but I wouldn't say no.

First time I saw Ash trim was a NOS XU1 door trim (I should have bought it) that came in a consignment of NOS I was sorting back in the 1980's.
