My documentation is everywhere on this forum in various threads. If you don't want to put up your documentation you can simply explain to Byron why it is a myth that there were only 150 engines. Curious to know if your going to include homologations 6/6V & 10/8E.

What proof do you want Gene and for what ?

How,s that 1 owner LJ XU-1 engine coming along............

Yeah we know all the stuff about the Group E - Series production and Group C - Improved Production rules you have put up with ad nauseum, however  I'm talking about the answers you got from The C.A.M.S about your special engine blocks.

You kept banging on about 'ask The C.A.M.S' so I did.

ha ha, this thread is like the worlds best honey pot....no one can look away in case the evidence finally turns up.

Regardless of the actual truth ..its a slow train wreck for sure..........just hope if someone is trying to prove something, that they realise that the fact that no real documentation has been shown, is actually dismissing the things they are trying to prove.....the  longer it goes on , the worse it gets.

Regardless....its a beauty

Why is it so important to explain your delusions to me? It isn't a myth, and don't involve me in your delusions either. There are 150 engines on the list of 150 engines, that is that. Was there another page with more engines numbers? No. Did these 150 engines go into the final 151 cars? Yes, and every extra one that turns up solves where another one goes. You can pretend you've found engines that do not exist all you want but it doesn't change what GMH published.

Gene has no mates...

Pretty sure if he did they would likely drive an electric vehicle... Six cylinders is a little loud. No need to make a scene now is there ;)

Explain what? GM-H produced 150 or 151 final spec cars. It's no big mystery.

I want to be a real boy ................

Well i have a friend at CAMS, so fuk it I rang............  this is what I was told ...

just letting you know I DID ring CAMS on Tuesday 29th, spoke to the historical section and the homologation guy. he said he had no idea what I was talking about. He said a few people had been ringing about this sort of thing lately, and he had found it a little funny that after 40 years, suddenly a lot of people were asking about something that they had no record of.

He also commented that back in the 70's that CAMS were not in a position to be concerned with casting numbers and the like for all parts, as they relied on manufacturers providing PART numbers. He said if they recorded all cast numbers and stampings etc for engines etc etc , then they would have been required to do it for gearboxes and every other part. The rules and the recording back then was just not that sophisticated.
So I guess that means I didnt get ANY info from CAMS.

Another myth that needs to be dispelled is the 250 cars.

Amendment 8/8e required 100 cars (for acceptance) being 50% of 200 under recognition document H2-3, dated 3/02/1972.

Amendment 9/2e required 100 cars (for acceptance) being 50% of 200 under recognition document H2-3, dated  3/02/1972.

Explain what? GM-H produced 150 or 151 final spec cars. It's no big mystery.
