I looked through a lot of 1980's Street Machine Magazines and did not find any Ad's for Strathfield Car Audio or your Car in the magazine's

My guess is it was a company car, similar to how C&E Steering in Sydney had Yellow SS Hatchbacks kitted out with their stickers. Strathfield Car Radios was huge; it may have been one franchisee that built it to advertise in their own locality.

Not sure how Strathfield Car Audio is connected to SCR; I remember they shortened the name to Strathfield.

Strathfield Car Radios Pty Ltd lodged a trademark application for 'The Right Choice' on the 10/02/1992.

That's good to know. Lately it has been a bit confusing for me. I never thought about it back in the day when I bought the car, but I have been wondering about it lately. Obviously it didn't take off as a motto though.

Cheers.

I have e-mailed them and haven't had a response. I should give them a call. Thanks for the number.

Finally got them on the phone, unfortunately the company went under about 5 years ago and this mob now are a franchise operating under the same name. No one from the original company is associated with what is now Strathfield. They just bought the name after the company went under.

Oh, well. Back to square one. Hoping someone remembers it and has some pictures.

Never thought they went under after googling them although their name had changed slightly to ( Audio ) from Radio

Have you posted anything up on Facebook Matthew ?

Yeh, I've posted to a few groups. I even managed to get it in Street Machine Magazine in the March 2016 issue. Still nothing. Looks like it's going to be Cyan Metallic.
