I have picked up plenty of complete cars with forks without damaging them. The chassis rails are usually the lowest point.
Notice that the fence angles inwards at the top towards the building. They must have been trying to keep the workers in!!!

Looks like they're on a frame, can see it under the cars in the back row.

They got transported on a frame. GMH were still doing this with van, tonner and ute bodies up until Pagewood closure.

Everything all gone.....
The EH Holden Club of Western Australia held the 40th Anniversary Celebrations of the EH Holden there
Took my 1963 Perth (Mosman Park) assembled EH Holden to the show, some people shot me down, others loved the car.....
was the ONLY Perth assembled EH there, but is now a 2 Door Convertible! Hence some people angry about "chopping up" such a rare car

I've got a LJ 2 door which was assembled at Mosman Park (Assembly Plant - L6). Bought it a while back as a parts car but now I'm thinking there may not be that many around?
