I think i have a few t-bar shifters in the shed with handles.
Oh, if anyone wants to make their own pool ball shifter knobs, please take note of where these gentlemen aquire the pool balls from! Buy them, dont borrow them!

I had an 8-Ball shifter on my floor shifted 3 speed in my HK Dirt circuit car...

It was just drilled .5mm smaller than than the thread, and screwed it on tight. It was awesome.

go-lo usually carry a range of 8 ball accsessories, from memory the knob is about $3 but it could be $5, they dont look as good as a real 8 ball but they are lighter ready to go and a little smaller.
I once read a article on making your own spider knob but cant remember wich mag it was in.

Re: Having to have a visible shift pattern for a manual somewhere in the car, does this apply for column shift manuals too.....Ive never seen a shift pattern displayed in the car for one of these. I know all australians are meant to know the three on the tree pattern from birth, but what about those pesky four speed column shifts on the old english cars?

Dont most column shift cars have a "readout" connected to the shifter?

I know out Mazda 1800 ute had 3 on the tree with a sticker on the column showing the pattern!
