I have these 2 on my desk

We buy them from MCX in QLD
They may have sourced the original mold
Hence the HOL you can see... but not the rest of the word

The lid was full of it. I assumed that’s all it could be?

I hadn’t touched the brakes for 10 years. Are you thinking it’s accumulation of humidity/water?

Any water will surely be absorbed into the fluid unless you’re boiling it….

You have stated before about humidity

Could just have been an accumulation of years of condensation
