Load up the welder and come on down...I need to stick on the tow and tie down hooks..they are sitting here waiting...cut the floor for the Toploader then bend it/blister it and weld it back in. The panhard rod system needs welding in too....so you either get your butt here or I get some local yokel to do it. :D

Hey Rory,
Check the top loader as a 31 spline bullnose loader sold for $25k last year. You might be better off putting that one aside and buying another :<_<:

Cheers

The drivers side tappet cover is sitting on the hydraulic bracket...so I will have to pull that out tomorrow and hope it sits down far enough...Couldnt get it in as a unit with the Hi Energy sump...the toploader appeared to hit the floor so will need to look at that as well.....could just have been the sump and bracket holding the motor out just that bit...The extractors were.are a nightmare..have to sit them in then slip the motor in over them and try to juggle them about...maybe when the motor angle is right it will be different.....At least the main bit is in...time for a drink..

Rorym the PH5275 according to the pacemaker website is for the HQ-WB, it doesnt say anything about them fitting a LH-LX but if your using them they obviously fit.

Is it the pacemaker website needing an update or did you mod them to fit?

Engine in and out Part 4....

I have lifted it again to fit HQ steel mounts...that drops the engine 12mm....looks like now the hydraulic bracket just fit....I will put a nick in it for clearence...the right hand extractors are bolted on...the lefts have plenty of clearence.....bit of rooting around but I am getting there...I will stick the box in tomorrow...need to cut the patch out of the floor first. Need one of those flexible dipsticks I think.

Thanks Rocket...NOT!

OK..bolted the extractors in...turns out the drivers side is fine...the passenger sits on the outrigger not allowing the engine to go down to the mount...took 3 goes at this to work out what was happening...cut the extractors at the collectors...will fix that later...tomorrow refit the pass headers and see if it sits in the mount.
