MHDT L34 Bond/Harvey 76 Car

Probably have 5 more now the clutch is fixed and it will hook up instantly....the master cylinder with the new kit was tight and letting the piston out slowly...like 3 secs from fully in to fully out...hence the slip from 2nd to 3rd...now it snaps out so I will test it tomorrow to see if its totally fixed...take up is good..about 30mm off the floor..the ceramic plate is exactly the same as the organic one...well it feels like it so thats a bonus...the fuel line is now re-routed to keep it cooler...Thanks Outlaw.. :spoton: ...the rear shocks and Super Pro insulators are in and now working properly...adjusted the fuel pressure back to 7.5 lbs cold so see if it stays there...only thing left to make me feel 100% is fit new seal kits to the front calipers...next weekend when they arrive...and re- test the brakes...

All done....hooks up like a bullet!!...Fuel pressure still drops to 3 lbs when hot from 7.5lbs....thats got me stuffed...pulling slightly to the left but worked out what that is...the outside drivers pad hasn't fully bedded in so it just needs some more miles...rear suspension is spot on and the banging, clunking has disappeared now...Beauty!

Sorted the fuel pressure...moved it to off the side of the regulator..there was a bung there for it..ran 12psi cold and hot so adjusted it down to 7psi and all is sweet! Still sits on 210F idling for 15 mintues so the temp is sorted... This is boring...running out of problems to solve!! :huh: Check the wheel alignment and thats pretty much it...

Good to see all the little niggles sorted without too much drama.

Nah...we had a head to head with the officials so I ran it in unregistered on the day...registered cars werent allowed slicks.

Found a new in box 1970s Padgent side mirror like on the original car..trouble is it's chrome not black...I can live with it.
