Extractors are off a VL Commodore...must have come with the engine and MRNOS just threw them in..Bugger!
So its in...extractors on later...that will be fun!!!...NOT!...need to open up the floor to clear the box....sorted the cltuch...only goes on one way...the springs hit the bolts holding the flywheel on the other way...

Hardest part is finding all the bits in boxes...finally found the correct alternator bracket and pulleys...painted them all up and dummy fit them...still short 2 brackets bolts...but it looks horn...almost as good as RRS'engine below......very excitied..

Was easier to drop the motor again as I had only done the front 4 bolts and dummy fit the rear to do the extractors, Yes Datto...they clear everything and fell on..Beautiful!! I also noticed doing it the lower right front nolathene bush in the LCA had collapsed so I will whip that out later and replace it.

Listing the finishing touches...pretty easy now..
Bleed the brakes
electrics...my auto elec loves me!
tailshaft
gauges
exhaust
pretty much it...
Should be barking in anger in the near future..I like this one..more traditional ....J Harvey has agreed to sign the glove box...well..Bev has anyway and John does what she says..just have to post it down to her and she will arrange....so it will have C Bond, H Firth and J Harvey signed on the glovebox lid...pretty cool that I think. As the proposed new owner is in Melb....I am pretty sure I can arrange a personal drive by one J Harvey....that should add to the sale I reckon..Haha.

Bit of a drama and more wasted time as per my thread in suspension...the front LCA nolathene bushes have collapsed so I will be replacing them..drivers done..passenger to go.

noticed the ra1s in the photo do yours hold out ? everytime i use them on the track they stick like shit to blanket but they eventually melt .i use them for hillclimbs they are the ducks nuts but very hard to get sometimes.by the way good idea with rickshaw approach to the front end i do it with my big holdens (hjhz)you can actually pick them up and wheel them like a rickshaw just you need someone to steer it for you.
