didn't realise your boot was as good as the rest of the car, very nice mate.
We still need to meet up, I've got uni holidays coming up.
and I may need to buy your 15" steelies, or atleast loan them (do they have tyres?) to get through regency with my 5l conversion, which we can certainly discuss in more detail when we catch up.
keep up the good work.

yeah still need to catch up. its hard with the hours i do but we will find time. i have the those 15" steelies but they dont have tyres and they have the wrong offset for the front.

interested to see the 5L conversion, have you started it yet?

No worries, I just need them for the rear, was told I'd need 255 minimum at the back....
I haven't started yet, but in the next month or so I plan to. you're welcome to come see the progress.

tyre fryer, 255 wont fit on the 15's unless you modify them. but we can organise something.

Gong, im a little confused with what you are offering but im interested. let me know

245s may do, if it will fit... Well, I'll just have to work it out. Or maybe wait until i change the diff then I can just use commo stud pattern.

here is the build process .

what i started with
Posted Image

I looked up the size range that gives peak performance for the sub. however with limited space i am on the lower range for size but it sounds fine. I measured the area and made the biggest box possible.
Posted Image

I used the wall to be the front of the sub box and the mounting plate for the amp for a smooooooth look.
Posted Image

I mounted the amp using a box mount behind the wall to mount it flush
Posted Image

flush!

finish

feel free to ask any questions but im not expert!

orange i have pulled my boot apart and found out how it is put together. the tail light cover has a hole in it for the latch and then fits between the latch and the top of the boot pannel. the floor goes in last and holds it down. its all pretty snug too. does this make sense? if it doesnt ill try and explain it better

that will look pretty cool, like one of those stompshop drawings! the colour of your car is like my ute, sometimes it looks orange, sometimes it looks yellow in different lights.

how will the offset go on those wheels?

yeah hopefully it will look ok. my colour is the cv8 monaro devil yellow. love your ute mate, awesome.

having heaps of trouble getting the wheels. the front wheels will need the offset changed if i get mondeo wheels but some of the volvo offsets are ok to use without mods.
