I have spiced the colour up a bit though in this case by putting the last few coats of colour on with a 50/50 mix with clear in with the colour,
this gives the colour more depth
then another 5 or 6 coats of straight clear over the top of that

it will need another go in a few months time but for now it looks pretty bloody good
its trying to rain here atm. so I've only got a few picks whilst its still in the shed, hopefully I can get it out into the sunshine tomorrow and get some better pics

the only rust in the car was a tiny hole in the rear window frame,Hope the rust is taken care of for good.
it was drilled out and migged up
rust is not likely to ever be an issue with this car

lots I'm not sure exactly how many coats it was but...............How many coats all up?
total paint used was,
8 litres of primer
2 litres of base colour blue
4 litres of cyan blue
6 litres of clear
1 litre of black
and lots of thinners too
