assuming there were no dramas during transport?

nah it was all good :spoton:

I've done more damage getting a car out of my shed than it coped on its trip north ;)

Took these pics on Monday - but my router crashed and have had trouble uploading. I put the bonnet on so it won't get damaged sitting around the garage, I have also put a coat of sound deadener on the floor.

I have a nearly complete GTR interior, only problem is the back upper and lower seat and all four trims are brown and the front buckets are black. I want an all black interior.

I don't suppose anyone would have a pic of some painted trim - this has been suggested to me already but I am hesitant to stuff up a reasonable set of trim.

Does someone on here have an exploded, (not the islamic type) view of the heater box, spent a lot of yesterday stripping it down, cleaning it and painting the upper outer mouldings. I will have to replace the foam cause most of it has turned to dust. Pics soon.

Bin doing stuff with the Blue Toy, the heater box is back together (although not bolted in yet), I have removed the crossmember and stripped it down to its component parts, stripped, blasted, sanded, wire brushed and degreased, (not necessarily in that order) the crossmember itself and given it a nice coat of gloss black. Total cost of crossmember restoration ATM $2.99 and a lot of time and skin.

Some pics to date:

Now for some new crossmember rubbers and suspension bits.....................

Yes its way past time for an update, will get some pics soon of the beast - all of the suspension is out and I have been painting underneath, I don't have a rotisserie so I am using the "lie back and think of England" method of painting.

Not familiar with that expression... why would you think of England? Wouldn't that just make you want to crawl out again and be in Australia?

"lie back and think of England"

http://en.wikipedia....hink_of_England

Not to be confused with the interactions between say and Australian male and a female English backpacker...

;)
