G'day guys, to help raise some cash for the website I have come up with 2 shirt designs (Front and Back)
Please let me know what you think.
I would steer away from pix of cars to help keep costs down.

...I do understand there are complications with the Holden logo etc but man that would look hot, you wouldn't even need anything else on it, I'd buy a few

Good work, hope you can arrange to have shirts made in ALL sizes

ie small to XXXXXXXXXL etc lol You get the picture. I am sure the forum has all shapes and sizes.

I am probably with heath on this one, maybe just the forum logo and the word Torana so as not to discriminate against all Torana models

Umm i dont think we'd be able to use the holden logo... definitely not if were going to try to sell the shirts.
How come the cost to print the cars on there would be more ( bear in mind i know SFA about screen printing!!)

I kinda liked the one with the cars that was shown previously, but the badges are not bad either.

If were going to have the badges on tha back ( i dont mind it on the back with the www.gmh-torana.com) then i think we should JUST have the website on the front.. looks a bit too fussy with the logos on teh front too.

GREAT.... are you going to set up an account where these shirts can be paid for in advance??? I would hate to see someone carrying the burden of costs on their own.

just from a design point of view, dont have "www" in front of the website, everyone knows what gmh-torana.com will be

Also less is more, i like the bottom left one. looks neat, then maybe just gmh-torana.com in helvetica or a similar type face on the back, comic sans i believe looks a bit amatuerish (no offence) a Helvetica (looks like what that the banner is up top) or Arial look a lot more professional! give that a try and see how they come out.

But i would love to buy a couple of these shirts! i would proudly were it to car shows and the like!!!

Write to holden and ask them see what they say about using the logo the STC did and obtained permission to use the word torana in their name when registering the club.... (Torana being copywrighted and all)
besides what is the diff between wacking it on a shirt and plastering it on a web site?
Similarly the GTR XU-1 SS and SL/R logos wouldn't the same rules apply?

Can someone PLEASE design our own forum logo hehe like the torana club one's etc cmon u designer ppl hehe, i like the shirts but i think there crowded with teh slr ss n all that on em, liked the cars better all personal thou

I'm personally leaning toward the cars, even if theyre a bit comic in design so as not to "steal" anyone's particular car picture...

as long as its viable to be printed ( cost wise) i would prefer that, Also is a little less cluttered!

The Logo you end up useing for the stickers should also go on the shirts as well.

I think the logo and cars on the shirt would be the way to go.

I stole this idea from the stickers thread, so all credit goes to J&S racing.

Something like this would be cool on the shirt! (the slr part of it is crap, but it could easily be redone)

when i got some spare time (maybe later tonight) i will have a shot at trying to do a design for the shirt and also a sticker design, im a bit of a perfectionist on this kind of stuff though so dont expect a design to be up by tonight unless i hit one on the head perfectly.

Also i'll try and go for a bit of the new fasionable look when i do the T-Shirt design one, bit messy etc if i was at uni atm i would just somehow work it in to being a project! haha make the whole class work on it!

I reckon a simple gmh-torana.com with maybe the shapes of the cars, or even less just have the gmh-torana.com as the centrepiece, you can make just typography look amazing if done right, i might get out my inks and handheld skills as well! give me a couple of days to come up with something!

BTW if some of u guys dont know i am doing Graphic Design at Uni atm so this is my thing...
