W00t! I managed to add a poll to this topic! OK.. so the first question is... Polo or T-shirt... its up to you now!

Next poll will decide what's on it :)

Herne: we definitely need a good range of sizes... i struggle getting big enough shirts, and kids sizes too! good idea!
Are the ladies happy to wear polos? not being experinced in this area, dont the bumps get created by the lady wearing the shirt :P

Yeh no worries Tiny, Iv emailed my freind this thread and his gona take a look and then he will explain to me what is best and so on.

His also a graphic designer and has been doing this for 10+ years now, workd for visybord in there graphics department and he is very very talented. He said to me all the graphics he does for free if you get him to do the shirts.Keeps the costs down.
He also said that the amount of colors doesnt matter. So from what i gatherd from him any design with as many colors as we want would cost much the same. Oh and he does embroiding also.

I like where this is headed. It sounds like a Polo is the way to go for now (I voted for it too) but maybe if this is a success then we can have a line of T-shirts up in a year or so. Top stuff guys!

Hey,
I like the look of all the pics and stuff people have put forward for the shirts. I just have one small thing. What about us with out the flash, XU1, SS, GTR and all that. I mean i drive a uc hatc. it is nothing special but you know its still a torana. So as nice as teh different models look on the shirt what about us little guys and gals with just standard model torana's. You cant put every model torana on the shirt that would just be over kill, but i dont wanan hurt my cars feelings wearing a shirt that it dfoesn't get mentioned on. Its very touchy my car gets upset and runs like s**t for days if i do soemthing i shouldn't.

thats where the neon looking one was good as it didn't specify a particular model just showed the basic shape.

The shirt isnt to represent your personal car and feelings, I think your car would get over it..lol These shirts are to represent and show the world this forums and toranas in general.
I havnt ever seen any subaru family wagon Tshirts or falcon 500 polo shirts.

Gday Tim, Thanks for the tip! Thats great!

We can always give him a call when we get a bit better idea of what were after to see if he can help out. Thanks!

John: LOL mate :) I dont want to be too offensive on our shirts ;)

How does this look as something you could either have on teh Sleve or on your back? ( or both!? )

Hopefully the picture works!

I think the red and that style font just looks neat, contains the meaning and doesn't have issues with the holden logo.

Would look great on the sleeve or the back!

How about we hit Les up for some "sponsorship" money and put a Rare Spares log on one sleeve
Help keep the costs down to members for the shirts and promote one of, if not the main guy helping us keep our cars on the roads with those hard to get parts.

Just a thought

That would assume he wants to pay for the advertisement with a bunch of people he knows already knows his shop exists o_O

another thought maybe Les could actually stock the shirts in his outlets and I am sure we are all happy to pay around $30 per shirt so if he can get them done for around the $20 mark it would be worth his while. Speaking for myself he has a shop within 80klm's of me and besides all that he has an online shop in Bayswater already set up to do eftpos etc.

I think the best combination so far would be the one pictured above with the different torana badges on the back.

Wow you guy's have been very busy, I love the idea of a slogan "to fly" idea, I like all of the shirts you guys have done especially the one with all the GTR, XU1, SLR/500 and SS this really stands out well. 253Toranass i can't wait to see what you come up with, you are doing a good job mate.
I too like a polo shirt they look smart and can be worn in just about any occasion, v8racerchic wants to add here that the font of the "to fly" needs to look tough to suite the cars.
