haha, yeah i will be driving like i drive the freeway everyday. i have a secret, legal system (so i dont just pull my P plates off) that pretty much ensures if i do pass a police man then i wont get booked. :spoton:

Is there a secure place to park at the Toranafest.

I am considering coming up, with my Torana.

I do want it to be showed, but would rather it be parked in a safe spot.

Is there a secure/ locked off area to park cars that are not on display??

Not that i'm aware of, take a look in the club events section, there is a toranafest topic in there where you can ask the organisers.

I'm just going to park the HQ on the road directly outside the oval like last year. That's why i want to get there early!

Cheers.

:D fatlh5000,

There is no secure car parking provided outside of the venue you will have to park on the Foreshore Road or Nobby's Beach Car Park, but for the price of entry you get secure parking on beautiful lush green grass, a T shirt and a goody bag.

Dont be put off by the judging the day is relaxed and no one is there to give you grief over your car no matter what condition it is in all Toranas are welcome.

Enter your car and you can be close to real people with Toranas of all calibre from ruff to tuff!

If I see you entered I will come and talk to you about your car and we can lie about what our cars can do!

Garry (I'll be the short fat one with the microphone!) :spoton:

don't be worried what others will say, I am missing a kick panel, the roof lining is up the creek, paint chips, etc. I am just glad to be going and get to check out all the sweet torana's that will be there this year - I thinking it will be heaps bigger than last year!!!

Well my Torana is no glamour let me tell you,
as for parking its better to be on the grass than
being on the road ( trust me).

What are you talking about Keith. Yours is a nice example of an SLR and it sure got down that 1/4 mile in a respectable fashion :)

See you all at Thornleigh!

So fatlh5000 please consider on entering the Toranafest
as everyone has stated that it doesn't matter what shape
your car is in so long as its a Torana. Be very proud of
what you own as all of us do even if you own a Monaro.

LOL HAHAHAHA

cheers Keith

P.S. Or a FORD
